Harry Potter and Orange Is the New Black Stars to Lend Their Voice Talents to the Animated Feature Sheep and Wolves

Santa Monica, November 5, 2015: Tom Telton, Ruby Rose, and China Anne McClain join the new project by Wizart Animation and CTB. The stars will lend their voices to the characters of the new animated feature  Sheep and Wolves!

Tom Felton (famous for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series) will give his voice to the protagonist, a wolf named Gray. Young and carefree—the pack’s favorite—Gray is contesting the role of the new leader of the pack and seeking the hand (well, the paw) in marriage of the pack’s most beautiful she-wolf, Bianca. Gray continues to monkey around and play pranks on his fellows. Everything goes haywire when he decides to transform himself with a magic potion. It’s not that the potion doesn’t work, it does—Gray turns into a . . . ram! Now Gray not only has to regain the trust of the pack and his beloved Bianca, but also his original form.

Gray’s beloved—the refined and beautiful she-wolf Bianca—will be voiced by actress and DJ Ruby Rose, who gained worldwide fame with her role of Stella Carlin in the TV series Orange Is the New Black.

The “key sheep” will be voiced by the 17-year-old star of the Disney Channel China Anne McClain of Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2 fame. In addition to voicing the cute little sheep Lyra, she will also perform “Raised High”—one of the songs of the film soundtrack.

The actors will lend their voice talents to the English version of the film, which will hit the theaters in spring 2016. The company responsible for finding the actors was Todd Resnick’s The Voice Company.

Sheep and Wolves is a new franchise from Wizart Animation and CTB (producer Sergey Selyanov). This is not the first time Wizart invites world-renowned actors to take part in a Russian-based projects.
