Writer Valentin Shubin has been living in seclusion for many years. In his youth, he wrote a series of children’s books about Elephant Mishka, published both in Russia and all over the world, and he was very popular. However, these days he prefers to be forgotten and left in peace. A course of unusual events leads to a new surge of interest in the personality of the reclusive writer and his works, breaking his solitude. Young and adult readers are eagerly awaiting new books, but Shubin does not want to write them.
