An unostentatious young man lives with his old mother in a big city. He jogs in the park in the morning, shops in the same grocery store, and watches the sports channel in the evening. Almost everything the young man does is predictable to the point of automatism. Almost, but not everything. It is in his character to withhold all emotion, and nobody knows how he makes a living. No one knows what he jots down in the little notebook he carries around with him in his pocket. In the space of a few days, Andrey Schultes comes to realize that he is not as forgetful as he would like to be.
